We believe that a city is a living, breathing organism, and to get to know it you have to wander its streets, the veins that fork and converge and inevitably lead you to its heart—the marketplace.
ProjectBly.com is the online platform doing the wandering for buyers who can’t, personally. (Will supermarkets here ever sell or get orders online? I’ll be among the customers using the platform. Not to mention, increased shopping on the Net – a climate change adaptation measure by the way – will get people off the road. Then, people will only hit the road to go to work or meet friends in person. Everything is via the Net and at home or off the road. But, can malling be as enjoyable online?)
On its website,
Bly is dedicated to marrying travel with design; we shop the world’s markets—from Bombay to Bukhara, and everywhere in between—curating collections of interesting objects, textiles, art and jewelry.
Currently, the shop is selling La Paz and Mumbai.
