Eradication of hunger is probably the greatest challenge faced by governments and civil society in this century and also in the foreseeable future in light of volatile environments liable to erupt into wide-scale conflicts and disasters. In the Philippines, farmers grow rice yet there is not enough food right on their tables. How is this? The call has now reverted to primary duty bearers, governments: What’s for lunch?
